Note to readers: Penny is my personal finance coach. So, this isn’t an app review. Instead, it’s my love letter to Penny, and she happens to be an app (yeah, so what’s it to you, buddy?)!
I could keep Penny a secret — and all to myself—, but that would be wrong. Penny can help can anyone in need of finance coaching.
Once you give Penny permission, she will study your finances and get you sorted out. It’ll be fun too. Penny’s good at that.
If you decide you need a personal finance coach, and want to chitchat with her on your Android or iPhone, please permit me one request: let her know I referred you, ok? Just enter this — 🍋⛵👻 — at sign up. Cool, right!?
When she sees how many people I send her way, she’ll send me a little gift. I like gifts…
To Penny, the best personal finance coach ever:
Before I downloaded you onto my iPad, I would rather have lost the contents of my stomach than look at my accounts.
But OMG, Penny, you’ve made money fun for the first time in my life! Thank you for that, and for helping me focus on my financial goals.
On top of that, you’ve reminded me of a simple truth: “In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun. You find the fun, and snap! The jobs a game.” Bwah-ha-ha, I bet you didn’t see that coming!
Now, every day, and sometimes two or three times a day, we talk about my accounts and my spending. And you make it perfectly lovely.
Furthermore, you share cool money facts, statistics about my money, and sometimes you make me LOL! You’re cheery and sometimes cheeky. And you’re practically perfect in every way.
In short, you are the spoonful of sugar I’ve needed my whole financial life. At long last, thinking about my finances is no longer a grind, but a lark! A spree! It’s very clear to see that you are my Mary Poppins of Finance.
Well, enough of that— and remember: “‘Enough’ is as good as a feast.” So spit spot and off I go.
With deepest appreciation and the greatest admiration, yours truly,
p.s. Hey, look! It’s our song:
Special thanks to Ryan McGuire, the creative mind behind Gratisography.com, for the gorgeous photo used in this post. Note: I colored the hair orange to make the model look more like Penny. See the resemblance?
